Tim Robinson

Tim RobinsonTim, a Detroit native, began his comedy career by studying at The Second City‘s short-lived theater in Detroit. He eventually moved to Chicago where he joined the cast of the iO legendary improv group, “Cook County Social Club”. Besides performing at iO in Chicago, Tim also performed with The Second City. In 2011, Tim filmed a television pilot for Comedy Central called My Mans with fellow iO alum Mark Ratterman. ( Sadly the show was not picked up by the network).

In September of 2012, Tim made his debut as a featured player on Saturday Night Live. In September of 2013, Tim was added to the SNL writing staff, making Tim the first SNL cast member to go from cast member to full time writer.
